Birth Certificate

The Consulate issues birth certificates on the basis of documents produced before the consulate to facilitate processing of immigration cases and other applications of Pakistan nationals.

Fee and processing time:

Fee	Urgent US $ 10	Regular US $ 5
Mail	5 business days (after receipt at the Consulate)	15 business days
In person	Same day	15 business days

Requirements:

Complete application.
Copy of Pakistani passport and CNIC/NICOP and birth certificate if available.
Fee in the shape of money order or cashier’s cheque payable to the Consulate General of Pakistan can also be paid through Credit Card at the Consulate (except American Express card). Merchant charges applicable. Cash or personal cheques are not acceptable. Consular fees are non refundable.
Prepaid self addressed return envelope for applications sent by mail. US Postal Service with tracking number is preferable.
In case of sending Birth Certificate application by mail, please mention “Birth Certificate Application” on the right corner of the Envelope.
